We’ll see sunshine in the morning Tuesday, but an advancing front is likely to bring some clouds by mid to late afternoon. A few showers may not be too far behind, especially in Northern Rhode Island. Highs will be near 60 degrees. Clouds and scattered showers are likely Tuesday night as that front eases through and the wind shifts to the northeast. Lows will be near 50 degrees.
Wednesday looks mostly cloudy and cooler, with highs in the mid to upper 50s. A few showers are possible Wednesday morning. We’ll get back to some sunshine on Thursday, and highs will rebound into the low 60s.
Looking ahead to Friday and the weekend, we should have some fairly mild weather. Highs Friday will be in the low to mid 60s, and mid to upper 60s are possible Saturday and Sunday. It will stay dry, with mainly clear to partly cloudy skies. The forecast gets somewhat uncertain from Sunday into the middle of next week. Of course, there is a lot of talk about Tropical Storm Sandy and whether it will have an impact in New England. You can read more about that here.
