The Second Annual East Greenwich Hill and Harbour Turkey Trot presented by the Main Street Association of East Greenwich is a fully sanctioned and certified 5K race held in East Greenwich, Rhode Island on Saturday, November 24. The course highlights much of the beauty of East Greenwich, which includes Main Street, the waterfront and the hill district. In addition to the 5K race the festivities include a 1 Mile Fun Run, crafts, and music which will allow the entire community to get involved.
Overall, it should be pretty good weather for the runners. It will be a little cool and windy for this year’s race, but the conditions could be a lot worse in late-November! A strong cold front will move through early Saturday morning, and there should be partly sunny skies with an increasing northwesterly wind behind the front. The weather will be turning colder later Saturday, but it should still be near 40 degrees at the time of the race.
