Long Range Forecast – November 20

Yawn. Another day complete with a heavy frost, nice sunrise, northeast breeze, high near 50, nice sunset, and chilly night. This is about as benign a November pattern as one can expect in Southern New England. It will be changing, however, before the end of the month. Here are the highlights:

  • Dry, seasonable Thanksgiving and Black Friday
  • Strong cold front moves through Saturday. Chilly and windy Saturday night
  • The temperature may not reach 40 degrees on Sunday afternoon
  • Quiet, cool early next week.
  • Storm in the Northeast next Tuesday and/or Wednesday
  • Track looks like a mix to rain, but weary of a track a bit farther south which would bring more mix/snow
  • Another cold shot behind that system
  • The pattern stays chilly, potentially active first week of December
