It probably won’t be too long between snow events in Southern New England. A storm moving form the Ohio Valley to the Mid-Atlantic will scoot south of Southern New England on Friday night into Saturday. The early outlook is for another accumulating snow, with more potential than the small system that is impacting the area Monday night. Extremely cold air may follow in the wake of that storm Saturday night. If medium range computer models are correct, widespread sub-zero temperatures are possible in Southern New England at dawn on Sunday. In all likelihood, the temperature will not be getting above freezing until next Monday – at the earliest.
