SNOW IS PICKING UP IN THE PROVIDENCE AREA….
My family is driving up to Cranston from Westerly in the early evening then to TF Green first thing for a flight to Disney. Do you see any travel issues or delays?
Thanks Fred.
I don’t see any major issues with driving this evening. It will be slick, but main roads should be well treated. As for the morning, they may need to de-ice the plane and there could be some fog. It’s tough to forecast airport delays.
I believe it Fred lol. Less than a 1/2inch here in West Warwick.
slick roads in west glocester. 2 vehicles off road on my way home!
Route 44 fine, back roads slick and slippery in Glocester.
Fred, do you anticipate any icing around 5am in the Wakefield/North Kingstown areas?
I don’t expect freezing rain. The temperature will be close to freezing.
Still looking quiet on the heavy snow front? Going skiing in Vermont a week from Friday. Hoping to have good conditions. Would love a big storm here at some point this winter.
Chris, the action may pick up next week. Nothing for the rest of this week.
By the way, a big storm for Vermont is not necessarily a big storm here. You want the best of both worlds.
