TV station snow forecast roundup

It is one of the trickier forecasts of the winter in Southern New England. A potent storm may come close enough to deliver another decent round of snow and wind to CT, RI, and SE MA late Saturday night and Sunday morning. The Right Weather forecast is for a widespread 3-6″ snowfall in RI and SE MA, with some higher amounts on Cape Cod and the islands. Here is what the Providence-New Bedford and Boston TV stations (plus The Weather Channel and National Weather Service) are forecasting as of 7pm Sunday. By and large, the stations have upped their snow totals in the past 24 hours since the last TV station snow forecast roundup.

There was no accumulation map for WJAR in Providence on the turntoten.com web site, but the wording in the forecast called for 6-12″ on Cape Cod and 4-8″ elsewhere.
