Decent weather into the weekend

The high temperature on Thursday reached 50° at TF Green again on Thursday in spite of thick cloud cover and a few light passing rain showers. Clouds will slowly clear Thursday night as the temperature drops into the low to mid 30s by dawn.

Friday should be a pretty nice day, with morning sunshine followed by billowing afternoon clouds. There is the outside chance of a pop-up shower in the afternoon. It will be a bit milder than Thursday, with highs in the low to mid 50s. It will stay quiet into the weekend, with partly cloudy skies Friday night. The low temperature Saturday morning will be in the mid 30s. Saturday afternoon looks similar to Friday. There will be a blend of clouds and sun, and the slight chance of a passing afternoon shower. Highs will reach the low to mid 50s.

Dry for most of Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday should start out with clear skies and finish with some rain showers. The low temperature around sunrise on Easter Sunday will be in the upper 20s to low 30s under clear skies. There may be some patchy frost. The temperature will quickly warm to the low 50s by midday as sunshine hangs on through early in the afternoon. Clouds will increase late in the day, and some showers are likely Sunday evening. It’s possible the rain will arrive before sunset. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s on Sunday.

Showers will move through Sunday night, and there is a window of opportunity for the temperature to jump to near 60 degrees on Monday. A surge of chilly weather will head into the Northeast by the middle of next week, but it may not arrive until Monday night. Ahead of that cold front, there should be mainly clear skies, and a mild west-southwest wind. If the temperature jumps into the upper 50s on Monday afternoon, it’s best to get out and enjoy it. The cold front will mean business, with some rain/snow showers likely Monday night into early Tuesday morning. The temperature will drop all the way to the upper 20s to low 30s by dawn Tuesday. The middle of next week looks mainly dry, but rather cool for early-April. Highs will only be in the low to mid 40s Tuesday through Thursday.
