Long Range Forecast – March 18

The bottom-line is there are no big changes to the Long Range Forecast or the weather pattern in the Northeastern United States through the rest of March. The North Atlantic Oscillation will remain negative and that will continue to tilt the colder than normal weather from the Upper Midwest to the East Coast. It will remain relatively warm in the Western United States. There are a couple of shots at snow/rain in the next week in Southern New England. An ocean storm may clip Southeastern New England Thursday night. Another storm is possible early next week. After that, it looks like we may get into a quieter, but still cool pattern to finish the month.
