The Winter Storm Warning in effect for the March Nor’easter has been expanded to include all of Providence County and most of interior SE MA. As noted earlier Thursday, the axis of heaviest snow has shifted to the southeast into Southeastern Massachusetts. The National Weather Service office in Taunton, MA believes that most of the area in the Winter Storm Warning will receive at least 6″ of snow by the time it ends on Friday. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the rest of Southern New England. See below for more details on the warning and advisory.
