Long Range Forecast – April 4

It looks like the overall weather pattern will be in a transitional phase over the next few weeks. That’s not uncommon for this time of the year. Unfortunately, it introduces more uncertainty into the Long Range Forecast. This time of the year there can be a very fine line between 40s with clouds and 60s with sunshine. Here is how we see the weather progressing in the next couple of weeks.

  • Warm inland early next week. Ocean in the low 40s keeps it cooler near the coast with an onshore breeze.
  • Some unsettled weather is likely mid to late next workweek. It may linger into the first half of the weekend.
  •  Signs of a longer warm-up between April 15-20. It may not rival last April 16-17 when the temperature was in the 80s, but 70s are possible.
