Delightfully dry weather heading for SNE

A very warm and humid month of July will end with some delightfully dry weather in Southern New England. The muggy weather hovering over Southern New England on Monday will be swept away by late Monday night as a cold front moves offshore. An unseasonably cool and dry airmass in the Upper Midwest will move east by the middle of the week, bringing much drier weather to New England. The temperature of the airmass will modify, and it will not be particularly cool weather that accompanies the lower humidity. Highs will be close to normal (low 80s) and lows will be in the upper 50s to low 60s by Wednesday morning. The dry weather should hang around into Thursday when a system moves into the Mid-Atlantic and threatens Southern New England with rain late in the workweek.
