Heavy showers/t-storms a concern all day

Southern RI woke up to heavy downpours and the sound of thunder. It is likely that many in Southern New England will also see rain on Thursday as a slow-moving cold front passes through the area. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for most of SNE. It will be a warm, muggy day, with highs in the low 80s inland and 70s near the coast.

As of 8 am, another line of heavy thunderstorms was moving into Central CT, and there was a third line of showers developing in NY. It is impossible to say where the heaviest rain will be and at what time it will occur. Keep an eye on the radar during the day.
