Onshore breeze will cool the coast on Wednesday

A land breeze has kept the beaches of Southern New England hot for the past couple of days. The high temperature near the coast in RI and SE MA topped 90° on both Monday and Tuesday. It will likely be in the 80s on Wednesday because of a southerly wind. The wind direction off the ocean will keep the dew point temperature high, so it will feel like the 90s if the temperature reaches 85°. Inland locations are likely to reach 90° again.
