The temperature struggled to fall Thursday night in Southern New England. As a result, the four major climatology stations in Southern New England may all establish a record high minimum temperature for July 19. The record, sometimes referred to as a maxi-min by weather geeks, would be the second straight for Providence and Worcester, and the first of the hot stretch for Boston and Hartford.
