T.D. 4 becomes Tropical Storm Dorian

Tropical Depression Four has strengthened into the fourth named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. At 11 am on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, the National Hurricane Center upgraded T.D. 4 to Tropical Storm Dorian with sustained winds of 50 mph, and gusts to 65 mph. The storm is no immediate threat to land and is moving WNW at 20 mph. It is forecast to remain a tropical storm as it moves over cooler water and into drier air in the coming days.
