Low humidity stays into the weekend

The next few days in Southern New England will be perfect for completing that outdoor painting or staining project that you have put off. The dew point has dropped into the upper 40s to low 50s, and it will stay this low through Thursday. It will start a very slow climb through the 50s late in the workweek and through the weekend. That allows several days to get a couple of coats of paint onto an outdoor surface, and you definitely will not have to worry about any rain or humid weather.

Another benefit to the low humidity and relatively low temperatures – it will take you longer to work up a sweat. Overall, this is perfect weather for working outside. The UV index will be high, so using sunscreen is a good idea if you’ll be in the midday sun for longer than 30 minutes.
