Slight chance of record lows Tuesday morning

A clear and unseasonably dry airmass over Southern New England may lead to a record low temperature or two Tuesday morning. The temperature is expected to drop into the upper 40s in the countryside, and low to mid 50s in the cities and near the coast. The most vulnerable record lows for Tuesday morning are in Boston and Worcester, but both are unlikely to be reached.

Providence – 50° (1934)
