Terrific weekend weather in SNE

Drier air will continue to filter into Southern New England on a north-northeasterly breeze Friday night and Saturday. High pressure moving out of Canada will settle over the Northeast by late Saturday, and that means the weather will be gorgeous with plenty of sunshine and low humidity. Friday night will be partly cloudy to mainly clear. The wind will diminish to 5 mph by late in the evening. Low temperatures Saturday morning will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Saturday should be a beautiful day, with lots of sunshine, low humidity, and highs in the 70s. It will be in the mid to upper 70s in most of Southern New England, and it may be a few degrees cooler along the E MA coastline with a 10-15 mph northeasterly breeze. Saturday night looks clear and cool – a great night for WaterFire in Providence. Lows Sunday morning will be in the low to mid 50s.

The second half of the weekend also looks beautiful. You can expect lots of sunshine, low humidity, and highs near 80° inland, and in the 70s near the coast. The wind will swing around to the southwest at 10-15 mph in the afternoon. It will stay dry with some clouds Sunday night. It will not be as cool as the next couple of nights. Lows will be near 60.

The weather looks somewhat unsettled in the early to middle part of next week. Monday should be mainly dry with increasing clouds. Showers are possible late in the day and Monday night. Dry weather may sneak in for a day on Tuesday before showers return Tuesday night into Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
