Another week of mainly dry weather has pushed all of Southeastern MA and part of Northeastern RI into a moderate drought. Southwestern coastal CT is also experiencing a moderate drought. All of Southern New England has received less than 50% of the normal rainfall in October. Coastal Southern New England has been the driest, with 5-25% of the normal rainfall this month. The overall dry conditions extend back to Labor Day weekend. While some rain is likely Thursday night and Friday, the pattern looks mainly dry from this weekend until late next week.
