Showers possible Wednesday PM
The coldest weather of the season to date has arrived in Southern New England. The temperature dipped into the mid 30s to low 40s at dawn Wednesday. Highs will only be in the low 50s on Wednesday afternoon. A developing storm south of Southern New England may throw some rain showers at Southeastern New England late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday evening. The best chance of seeing rain is near the coast. It looks like a damp, chilly start to the World Series in Boston.
The weather will be quiet from the end of the workweek into the weekend. It will stay cool, with highs in the low 50s and lows in the 30s. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny Thursday and Friday afternoon. Clouds will increase ahead of a cold front on Saturday afternoon. A few rain showers are possible Saturday night. Sun will return on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid 50s. Monday looks seasonable, with highs in the mid to upper 50s under partly sunny skies.
