Late season tropical cyclone forming in Atlantic Ocean

A non-tropical storm well east of Bermuda is transforming into a subtropical or tropical cyclone as it encounters warm water in the Atlantic Ocean. The storm, which would be named Melissa, has a 90% chance of becoming a tropical or subtropical cyclone in the next 48 hours as of 7 am Monday morning. The storm is no threat to land as it is expected to move north into the North Atlantic over the next several days.
