Long Range Forecast – November 11

The big chill in the middle of the week will be relatively short-lived. The low point will be Wednesday with lows in the low to mid 20s and highs in the mid to upper 30s. A gradual warming trend is ahead for the late workweek into the weekend. A weak disturbance will move through the Northeast Saturday. Right now, it looks like nothing more than a few showers – if any in Southern New England.

The best chance of rain in the next two weeks is in the early to middle part of next week. It could be a good soaking for Southern New England, but we are hesitant to get too optimistic as it could be just another cold front that brings scattered rain showers. Since we need the rain, a best-case scenario would have a storm forming along the front and moving slowly through with steady rain.

It looks like a mainly dry, seasonable pattern late next week into the weekend before Thanksgiving.
