Long Range Forecast – November 4

I am still not seeing anything to get overly  excited about weather-wise in the next couple of weeks. The relatively benign pattern will continue in Southern New England. The temperature will bounce around in the progressive weather pattern, but the swings should not be as volatile as we’ve seen in the past few days. Look for a warm-up Wed-Thu followed by showers then cooler weather this weekend. Another gradual warm-up is in the forecast for the early to middle part of next week. Another system threatens with (rain) showers in the mid to late part of next week.

The showers in the forecast for late this week and next week do not look like enough to significantly cut into the rainfall deficit that continues to grow in Southern New England. The last two months have been very dry with a large chunk of S RI and SE MA receiving less than 25% of the normal rainfall.
