Storm Timeline: Windy and wet Wednesday

A large storm moving up the Eastern Seaboard will likely disrupt travel in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Tuesday through Wednesday. The storm will not reach Southern New England until late Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday evening, and the height of it is likely Wednesday morning. Rain will be heavy at times on Wednesday. Peak wind gusts near the coast will be close to 50 mph. Rain will end Wednesday evening, and the temperature will fall from the 50s into the upper 20s to low 30s by dawn Thursday. It will feel colder Thursday morning because of a 15-30 mph breeze.
