  1. Fred, if that band heading east (in the radar labeled 8:15pm) actually holds together, am I safe in assuming the snow totals for southern Rhode Island would be in the very high end of the 6 to 10 inch range? Or would that band not make that much of a difference? Maybe just my wishful thinking? 🙂

  2. Is this band of puking white goodness going to pivot southeast at some point? I, in Somerset MA, would really like to get in on the fun! As of now we’re only at 4.3″.

  3. Fred, when do you expect the wind to pick up? So far it seems the gusts haven’t been too bad.

  4. Fred, great work as always! Have you ever seen a cutoff like this before? It’s pretty amazing to look at the contrast on the radar from Western Mass to Eastern Mass. Also how often is the temp this low and snowing, I don’t ever recall it happening before this year.

Thanks – keep up the great work.

    1. I have seen similar cutoffs with coastal storms. The temperature is not often in the single digits and teens when snowing in Southeastern New England. To see it twice in three weeks is pretty incredible.

  5. So, Fred… just how bad do you think Coventry will get hit? For some reason, we often get higher totals than the surrounding area.

  6. Hi Fred!
We’re in Warwick Neck right on the bay and the waves are whipping out there! Looks like we have about 6″ so far. Will we get more or less than Providence? I’m assuming 8-10″?

  7. Fred, Do you still anticipate accumulations to be over in NK by 8 am? How much additional snow do you think we will get from now until then? Thank you
