PatsCast: Another deluge at Gillette Stadium

The last Patriots home game against the Buffalo Bills on December 29, 2013 was one of the rainiest in recent memory. Saturday’s NFL Divisional Round playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts may give it a run for its money. A very mild and wet weather system will be moving through the Eastern United States Saturday into early Sunday.

Right now, the timing of the heaviest rain in Foxborough, MA coincides with the 8:15 pm game. There is the potential for 1-2″ of rain between 1 pm Saturday and 1 am Sunday. On the plus side, the temperature may be in the 50s. The wind will pick up out of the south to 15-30 mph during the game. The south end of Gillette Stadium is the closed end, and that may help to block the wind.
