Winter Storm Warning in SNE, Blizzard Warning for Long Island

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for most of Southern New England ahead of the strong storm that will likely bring between 6-16″ of snow Thursday through midday Friday. A Blizzard Warning is in effect from 6pm Thursday to 1pm Friday for Long Island where the National Weather Service expects strong winds to combine with the snow to create blizzard conditions. While a Blizzard Warning has not been issued for Southern New England, we have highlighted that potential for the past few days – especially for the Cape and islands.

See below for more details from the National Weather Service.
