Long Range Forecast – February 19

If you’re looking for a break from the winter weather, then you best enjoy the relatively mild weather in the next four days because the end of February and early March are looking very much like most of the rest of winter – cold and active. The first chance of appreciable snow after the weekend is in the middle of next week. Conditions are favorable for a storm to develop off the Atlantic coast, but it is unclear if it will move out to sea or up the coast. If that storm does not reach Southern New England, there is a good chance that another will at some point between the last few days of February and the first week of March. January and February were both snowier than normal, and March is shaping up to be the same way.
