A rain storm quickly changed to ice and snow as cold air barreled into Southern New England Wednesday night. Roads are slick in the morning with temperatures falling through the 20s. The wind is gusting over 30 mph.   1. Snowing heavily in No. Smithfield.Roads snow covered. Very cold and quite windy and gusty. Does seem like a mid-winter stormy day.. Glad I made soup yesterday.:)
