Midweek Showers in Southern New England

The weather will be dry and mild inland in Southern New England during the day on Tuesday. There will be a blend of clouds and sunshine with highs in the upper 60s inland, and in the 50s near the coast with a gusty southerly breeze between 15-25 mph.

A cold front will swing through with scattered shower Tuesday night. The temperature will stay in the 40s to low 50s overnight. Another round of showers is possible in the mid to late morning on Wednesday as a disturbance passes through. It will be breezy and cooler on Wednesday, with highs in the 50s. Skies will clear in the afternoon.

Wednesday night looks mainly clear and cool, with lows ranging from the mid 30s inland to the low 40s near the coast. Thursday will be partly sunny, breezy, and dry. After a cool start, the high will be near 60. Friday looks mostly sunny and seasonable, with lows in the low 40s and highs in the low to mid 60s.

The best chance of showers this weekend is on Saturday, but it does not look like a washout. Highs will be in the 60s, and there may be passing thunderstorms with the showers. Dry and cooler weather is ahead for Sunday. Highs will be near 60 under partly sunny skies with a gusty northwest breeze.
