SoxCast: Cloudy, Damp, and Cool Home Opener

Hopefully, the World Series Championship rings that the Red Sox receive on Friday are shiny enough to brighten what looks like a gray afternoon weather-wise for the home opener vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. Clouds will thicken in Boston, and the dreaded early spring easterly breeze will have the temperature hovering near 40° at Fenway Park late in the afternoon. The sun may hang on for a while Friday morning, but by the time the game starts, clouds will be rolling in, and it may be a bit damp with mist and drizzle by the early evening. The good news is it does not look like steady rain will arrive in time to delay or postpone the game. The weather should be better over the weekend for the rest of the series.
