Gorgeous and Warm Weekend in SNE

We are heading into the weekend with delightfully dry weather in Southern New England. Friday night will be mainly clear and comfortable, with lows in the mid to upper 50s. There will be a diminishing breeze.

For the most part, high pressure will control the weather in the Northeast this weekend, and that means plenty of sunshine in New England. Saturday will start with sunshine before some fair weather clouds develop around midday. It should be a few degrees warmer than Friday, with highs in the low 80s inland, and mid to upper 70s near the coast as the wind turns onshore in the afternoon.

Saturday night will be mainly clear and mild, but not terribly muggy. Lows will be in the low 60s in the cities, and in the upper 50s in the countryside. Sunday looks sunny and warm, with highs in the low to mid 80s inland, and 70s near the coast thanks to another sea breeze.

The forecast for the early to middle part of next week is somewhat tricky. A disturbance may make a run at Southern New England, threatening us with a few showers. It does not look like a widespread rain. Highs will most likely fade back into the mid 70s – closer to normal for this time of the year. More showers are possible on Tuesday, but, once again, there is still a chance it could be a dry day.
