Saturday was delightful with a blend of clouds and sunshine, low humidity, and seasonably warm temperatures. Thankfully, Sunday looks about the same. It will be mainly clear Saturday night with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Sunday will be a terrific day, with partly to mostly sunny skies, and highs in the upper 70s at the coast to mid 80s inland. A sea breeze will develop in the afternoon.
The weather will stay quiet early next week before rain arrives in the midweek. Monday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid 80s inland, and near 80 at the coast. It will be a bit more humid, but not oppressive. Lows will be in the 60s Monday night with partly cloudy to mainly clear skies.
Tuesday should feature more sun in the morning than in the afternoon. There is a chance of evening showers as a strong disturbance moves from the Midwest to the Northeast. Highs on Tuesday will be in the low to mid 80s inland, and mid to upper 70s at the coast with a 10-15 mph southeast breeze.
The best chance of rain next week is between Tuesday night and Thursday morning. Showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night with lows in the mid to upper 60s. Showers and storms are likely on Wednesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s. It may be a washout in most of Southern New England. We’ll keep you updated. The good news is the system will be progressive and likely move away on Thursday. A few lingering showers are possible early in the day, but sunshine may break through the clouds by midday. Highs will be near 80 on Thursday.
