Long-Range Forecast – August 4
The overall weather pattern will not be changing anytime soon. There is a chance of a day or two of very warm to hot weather early next week, but it will likely not last very long. If you’re on vacation this week, the best chance of rain is Wednesday, but pop-up showers cannot be ruled out on Thursday or Friday. However, most of the time it will be dry. Temperatures will be close to normal in the afternoon (low 80s), and after a muggy start to the week, it will get less humid after Wednesday.
The weekend is looking very good. The high temperature will gradually rise from Friday through early next week. If the wind is out of the west or southwest on Monday, then highs could soar through the 80s to 90 Monday and/or Tuesday. A cold front will bring a shower and t-storm threat in the middle of next week, followed by more dry, comfortable weather.
