After a showery start, the weather will improve Wednesday afternoon. You can expect some afternoon sunshine with highs near 70. It will turn cooler late in the workweek into Columbus Day weekend. Thursday should be decent. Highs will be in the low 60s with mostly sunny skies. Clouds will increase on Friday, and showers may develop from west to east in the afternoon. Highs will be near 60.
The early outlook for Columbus Day weekend is for showers Saturday morning followed by dry and cool weather from Saturday afternoon through Sunday into Monday. Another system could bring showers by late in the holiday weekend.
