Dry and Cool Weekend in SNE

The big and stubborn storm parked over New England for a few days will slowly move east this weekend. There will be a spoke of energy wrapping around the storm on Saturday. It will drift through Eastern Massachusetts late in the day and during the evening. After a sunny start, clouds will increase in the afternoon – especially in E MA. Highs will be near 40 with a 5-10 mph northwest breeze.

Saturday evening looks mostly cloudy with the chance of a few flurries in Eastern Massachusetts. Skies will clear from west to east during the evening and after midnight. The Geminid meteor shower peaks this weekend, and there may be 100 visible meteors per hour. The best time to check them out is late Saturday night.

Sunday will be a nice day, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 40s. There will be a 5-10 mph northwest breeze. Skies will stay clear Sunday night. Lows will be in the 20s.

Monday looks nice, with highs in the low to mid 40s, and plenty of sunshine. Sun will be followed by increasing afternoon clouds on Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 40s. A storm system will most likely bring rain showers Tuesday night into early Wednesday. Dry and cooler weather is ahead for the end of next workweek.
