Cold and Dry Through the Midweek

Monday’s damp and raw weather will be replaced by drier and much colder weather Tuesday through the midweek. The temperature will fall below freezing after midnight, and if the precipitation ends as a touch of snow, there could be a few slick spots early Tuesday morning. The temperature will tumble into the low to mid 20s by dawn on Tuesday, and it will not rise much during the day. Highs will only be in the mid 20s with mostly sunny skies and a fresh northerly breeze.

Wednesday morning will be in the low to mid teens under clear skies. It will be partly cloudy and cold in the afternoon. The temperature will struggle to reach 30. The storm track will be offshore in the mid to late workweek, and the weather will stay dry and cool in Southeastern New England. Thursday looks partly cloudy with lows in the 20s, and highs in the low to mid 30s.

The weather will stay quiet through the weekend. The temperature will warm into the mid to upper 30s on Friday and Saturday afternoon. Sunday looks warmer, with highs in the 40s under dry skies.
