Dangerous Wind Chill Thursday Morning
The coldest weather of the season will barrel into New England on a strong northerly wind Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The temperature will plummet to below zero in most of Southern New England, and the wind will stay active through the night. Wind chill values of -15 to -30 are possible late Wednesday night through early Thursday morning. Wind chills that low can cause frostbite on exposed skin in a matter of minutes. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Southeastern New England.
