Snow will overspread Southern New England on Saturday as an Alberta Clipper storm system moves into the Northeast. Once the jet stream energy reaches the Atlantic Seaboard, a new storm will rapidly develop. That storm will intensify significantly overnight into early Sunday bringing strong winds and periods of heavy snow late Saturday night and Sunday morning. Blizzard conditions are possible. Follow Fred Campagna’s Live Blog all day on Saturday, February 14 for the latest on the storm.

Hi Fred – We had very light and fluffy snow that piled up quickly to 6.5″ in South Tiverton by 9pm. It has been clear skies with the stars out since then, still 29 degrees with virtually no wind at all at 11pm.
