Another potentially major winter storm is heading for New England this weekend, and it may be strong enough to cause blizzard conditions in Eastern New England. The storm will develop Saturday afternoon and rapidly intensify Saturday night into Sunday morning. Wind-driven snow is likely in Eastern Massachusetts through most of Sunday. The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Watch for the Eastern Massachusetts coast and Cape Cod. Rhode Island and a large portion of Massachusetts is in a Winter Storm Watch.
