The National Weather Service office in Taunton, Massachusetts has issued a Winter Storm Warning for a large part of Southern New England ahead of a long-duration snow event that will bring six or more inches of snow to most of the area. Accumulating snow may begin Saturday night, and occasional snow is likely through Sunday and Monday before ending Tuesday morning.
