Showers rolled through Southern New England Wednesday evening, and there is likely to be more rain during the day on Thursday. The slow-moving frontal system will bring occasional showers, temperatures in mid 40s to low 50s, and a southwest breeze. Patchy fog is possible.
Showers will continue Thursday night, and may linger into mid-morning on Friday. It will become mostly cloudy Friday afternoon Highs will be near 50 on Friday.
Cooler weather is in the forecast for this weekend. Saturday will be partly to mostly cloudy and unseasonably cool, with highs struggling to reach 40. There will be a north-northeast breeze, and patchy drizzle is possible in Eastern Massachusetts.
Sunday looks brighter, but still a bit cool, with highs in the low to mid 40s and partly sunny skies. It will most likely stay mainly dry early next week. A front will pass with the outside chance of a shower on Monday. The middle of the week will be dry and seasonable, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
