It will be clear and cool early Thursday. Lows will be near 40°. Thursday afternoon will be partly to mostly sunny, but not as warm as Wednesday was. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s inland, and mid to upper 50s near the coast. As the wind shifts to the south in the afternoon, the temperature will fall into the low to mid 50s.
Clouds will increase Thursday night as a disturbance approaches from the west. A few showers are possible by dawn on Friday. Lows will be in the 40s. The best chance of showers on Friday is in the morning. The afternoon looks mainly dry, but not particularly warm, with highs in the low to mid 50s.
The weather will warm up again over the weekend. Saturday looks great, with plenty of sunshine in the morning. There will be some clouds late in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s inland, and low to mid 60s near the coast. A disturbance passing through Northern New England will most likely not travel far enough south to bring precipitation to Southeastern New England Saturday night.
Sunday will be dry, but a bit cooler. Highs will be near 60° – just about normal for mid-April. Look for clouds to increase Monday morning, and rain may develop by noon. Rain is likely by late Monday afternoon through Monday night. Some heavy downpours are possible. Highs will be in the 50s on Monday.
Showers may linger on Tuesday, especially in the morning. It will be milder with a high near 60°. Wednesday looks partly cloudy and seasonable.
