Showery Through Early Saturday

Thursday was a delightfully mild early April day, at least away from the coast. The wind off the ocean kept it cool near the coast, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Meanwhile, away from the coast it was in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Clouds will thicken Thursday evening, and rain showers are likely after midnight. Lows will be in the mid 40s with patchy fog. Friday looks mild, but showers are a threat, especially near the coast. Highs may reach 60 inland, and it will stay in the low 50s near the coast with a southwest breeze.

More showers will roll through Friday night. The temperature will stay in the 40s. All told, there will likely be 0.5-1″ of precipitation between Thursday night and early Saturday morning. The rain should end by mid-morning on Saturday, and clouds will break up to yield partly sunny skies in the afternoon. A fresh west-northwest wind will develop, and after reaching the low to mid 50s, the temperature will fall through the 40s in the late-afternoon and evening.

Lows on Easter morning will be in the upper 20s to low 30s under clear skies. It will be partly cloudy in the afternoon. It will be a bit cool, but not terribly so, with afternoon temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Clouds will thicken again Sunday evening, and passing rain showers are possible Sunday night into Monday morning. It will become partly sunny on Monday, with highs in the mid to upper 50s inland, and low 50s near the coast. Enjoy Monday because most of next week looks unsettled. Showers will return Monday night, and Tuesday looks wet and raw, with temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. A break is possible early Wednesday before rain returns later in the workweek.
