Warm Saturday; Showers Possible Late Sunday

Friday was gorgeous in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. The wind will swing around to the south Friday night. Some clouds may arrive late at night. Lows will be near 60 again on Saturday morning.

A southwesterly wind will help the temperature reach the low to mid 80s inland on Saturday afternoon. It will become muggy again. The coast will be 10-15° cooler because of the onshore breeze. There could be some clouds from time to time near the coast, too.

A cold front will approach New England on Sunday. It will be warm and humid, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Showers are possible Sunday night through Monday as the front lingers nearby. It will be cool, with highs in the low to mid 60s and plenty of clouds. The position of the front is questionable on Tuesday. It’s unclear if Southeastern New England will be on the warm or cool side of it. Latest trends indicate milder weather, but still the chance of showers.

Dry and seasonable weather is likely on Wednesday and Thursday. Lows will be in the 50s with highs in the 70s. Friday looks warmer, with highs in the 80s.
