The muggy weather camped over the Northeastern United States for the past few days will be swept out to sea by a cold front Tuesday night. There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Tuesday evening before clearing after midnight. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday afternoon will be pleasant, with a blend of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. There will be a 10-20 mph northwest breeze. The temperature will dip into the 40s under clear skies with light winds Wednesday night.

Thursday will be a beautiful day. Look for plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Friday will also be very nice. You can expect sunshine followed by some late day clouds. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s inland, and upper 60s near the coast.

Clouds will increase ahead of a warm front Friday night. There may be some patchy fog, drizzle, and mist. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s. A slow-moving disturbance will move through Southern New England on Saturday. The details of the forecast are questionable, but it looks like there will be a fair amount of clouds, and possibly a few showers. It will likely not be a washout. Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Sunday is shaping up to be partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 70s. The wind will shift to the northeast early next week. Highs in the low to mid 60s are ahead for Monday and Tuesday.
