Wednesday looks like a nice day. It will be a bit cool for mid-May, with highs in the low to mid 60s. Look for a blend of clouds and sunshine. There will be a 10-25 mph northwest breeze.

Wednesday night will be clear and cool. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s. There will be some clouds on Thursday, but it will stay dry. Highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. There will be a 5-10 mph southwest wind. A storm moving off the Mid-Atlantic coast will likely stay far enough away from Southern New England that dry weather continues into the weekend. We expect partly sunny skies on Friday. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

It will turn cooler on Saturday. The low temperature may be in the 40s again, and afternoon highs will struggle to reach 70 degrees. It will be breezy in the morning, and not as windy in the afternoon. There will be partly to mostly sunny skies. Saturday night looks clear and comfortable. Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Sunday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the Memorial Day weekend. Highs inland will be near 80 with mostly sunny skies. A southwest breeze will keep it closer to 70 at the coast. We are still watching for a wind shift Sunday night into Monday as a backdoor cold front slides down the New England coast. At this point, we expect more dry weather on Monday. Clouds will give way to sunshine. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.
