Hot Again Tuesday; Cooler Late-Week

Providence hit 90° for the first time in 2015 on Monday. There is a decent chance of going back-to-back on Tuesday before it gradually turns cooler in the mid to late week.

MONDAY NIGHT
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible through mid-evening in RI and SE MA. It will be a mild night, with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. Skies will be partly cloudy.

Some in SNE will see their third straight 90° day on Tuesday

TUESDAY
It will be partly cloudy and very warm again on Tuesday. Highs will flirt with 90° inland, and it will be well into the 80s near the coast. There will be a southwest breeze. Dew points will be in the mid to upper 60s, so it will feel a bit warmer. A stray shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out Tuesday night as a cold front moves through. Lows will be 65-70 on Wednesday morning as it turns less humid.

WEDNESDAY
It looks like a very nice day. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies. There will be a west-northwest breeze, and lower humidity than Tuesday. Overall, it should be a great day to hit the beach.

THURSDAY-SATURDAY
A relatively cool pool of air will spin from Eastern Canada into New England. The pattern favors clear, comfortable nights, and seasonably warm to slightly cool afternoons. There will be some clouds that pop up each day in response to the cool air aloft. A stray shower or thundershower is possible, but it looks like most of the action will be in Northern New England. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, and lows will be in the low to mid 60s. It will not be muggy. The weather looks nice for the Taylor Swift concerts at Gillette Stadium Friday and Saturday. A pop-up shower is possible in the late-afternoon, but skies will clear in the evening. The evening temperature will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
