Nice Friday; Weekend Looks Dry

Thursday was a real beauty with blue sky, fair-weather clouds, and low humidity. Friday looks about the same as a northeast breeze develops. That wind direction will keep it a bit cooler than normal through the weekend, but it looks like an offshore storm will not bring rain.

FRIDAY
It will be a partly to mostly sunny start to the day. Lows will be in the low 60s with low humidity. The afternoon should feature a blend of sun and clouds. There will be a light northeast breeze. Highs will be in the 70s in Eastern Massachusetts, and low 80s in Rhode Island. Friday night looks partly cloud with lows near 60.

SATURDAY
An offshore storm will be far enough away that we’ll enjoy another dry and pleasant day. There may be a few more clouds than Friday, but it looks pretty nice. After a comfortable start, the high temperature will be in the mid 70s to low 80s – coolest in E MA. Look for partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. There will be a light northeast breeze.

SUNDAY
The storm system should still be far enough away that there is no inclement weather in Southeastern New England. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s in E MA, and mid to upper 70s in RI. The northeast breeze will be a bit stronger than Saturday, between 10-20 mph. Skies will be partly cloudy in RI, and mostly cloudy in E MA.

MONDAY
There will likely be more dry weather as the storm pulls away to the east, and the next disturbance approaches from the west. You can expect partly sunny skies with highs near 80. It will get a bit more humid late in the day.

MIDWEEK
Scattered thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday afternoon as a slow-moving system moves in from the west. It will be a muggy day, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. The same disturbance may trigger more showers and storms Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. It looks like it will move offshore late Wednesday, and the rest of the workweek will feature dry weather.
