Nice Thursday; Close Call With Weekend Storm

Pleasant weather will continue through the end of the workweek. It will be a close call with a storm moving into the Atlantic Ocean this weekend. Rain is possible on Saturday afternoon into Sunday as the storm passes by.

THURSDAY
It will be a sunny and comfortable start to the day. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s. The temperature will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s during the afternoon. There will be a blend of sunshine and fair-weather clouds. Look for a west-southwest breeze between 10-15 mph. Thursday night will be mainly clear with lows in the low 60s

FRIDAY
You can expect another nice day with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s under mostly sunny skies. Friday night looks partly to mostly cloudy. Lows will be in the 60s.

SATURDAY
An offshore storm will force the wind direction around to the northeast. It will be partly to mostly cloudy and cooler, with highs in the 70s. Some showers cannot be ruled out if the storm comes closer than expected. The best chance of rain is on Cape Cod and the islands. There is a better chance of rain Saturday night into Sunday morning, but the track of the storm is critical. Lows will be near 60 Sunday morning.

SUNDAY
It is unclear if the storm will be close enough to bring rain, but it should be close enough to keep some clouds around. The northeast breeze will continue, and the temperature will not reach 70 if it rains, and will only be near 70 if skies are partly to mostly cloudy.
